The Miss For America Stong 2021 pageant concluded Thursday night from the Westgate Resorts in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada.
After a week full of events including a visit to the legendary Elvis Suite, and a day full of interviews, the girls hit the stage for the preliminary and final competition for the Miss for America Strong pageant. Complete with fitness, costume, on-stage interview, and evening gown, contestants from all over the country laid their heart on the line.
The top six finalists included - Miss Utah, Maggie Mitchell, Miss Colorado Juliet Abdell, Miss Ohio Kayelin Tiggs, Miss South Carolina Lizzie Notaro, Miss Tennessee Madeline Myers, and Miss Arizona Kyra King.
Each contestant stepped up to the microphone to answer the on-stage question - "in 15 seconds or less tell the judges about yourself".
The judging panel narrowed it down to the final three which included Ohio, South Carolina, and Utah. Miss Ohio's answer stood out, as she pointed out that she had been in 22 pageants prior and had never won a title until she won Miss for America Ohio. With such truth and heartfelt words, she encouraged women everywhere to remember to keep going even after the doors have closed countless times. "Love and allow yourself to be loved". Kayelin Tiggs
With honesty beaming from her heart, she amplified her voice to all queens advising them to demonstrate their true, genuine selves without fear. Whether it was that answer or the gorgeous blue velvet gown she wore so beautifully on stage, Miss Ohio, Kayelin Tiggs sealed her fate as she took home the crown for Miss for America Strong 2021. No matter how long the journey, we shall always trust the process. This has been an ongoing theme in the pageant world lately.
Congratulations from all of us at VIP Pageantry Miss Kayelin. You're a true VIP.
